Refund & Cancellation Policy
We provide customized professional services rather than off-the-shelf products, so payment and cancellation terms are set per project. Here is how that works and where to find the terms that apply to you.
Last updated: August 2026
Custom services, not retail products
Indian Wells Technologies ("IWT") designs and delivers work tailored to each client — websites, automation, IT support, and cybersecurity services. Because scope, timelines, and third-party costs differ from project to project, we do not publish a single one-size-fits-all refund schedule.
Your project agreement governs
Deposits, milestone payments, cancellation rights, refunds, and payment obligations are set out in the proposal, estimate, statement of work, invoice terms, or signed services agreement for your engagement. Where anything on this page conflicts with that agreement, your agreement controls.
Please review your project agreement before making a payment, and ask us about anything that is unclear. We would rather answer questions up front than sort out a misunderstanding later.
Work already performed and third-party costs
If a project is cancelled after work has started, amounts attributable to work already performed may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by the applicable agreement and by law.
Some projects involve costs paid to outside providers on your behalf — for example domain registration, hosting, licenses, or subscriptions. Those costs are generally non-refundable once purchased or approved, because they are set by the provider rather than by us.
- Completed and delivered work may be billable even if the project is stopped early
- Approved third-party purchases follow that provider's own refund rules
- Recurring plans are typically billed for the current period and can be cancelled going forward as described in your plan terms
Ongoing plans and recurring services
Website care plans, support arrangements, and other recurring services follow the billing and cancellation terms stated for that plan or in your agreement. Cancelling stops future billing periods; it does not automatically refund a period already in progress unless the applicable terms say otherwise.
If something is not right
If you believe a charge is incorrect, or you are not satisfied with work we delivered, contact us and describe the issue. We will review it in good faith and work with you toward a reasonable resolution consistent with your agreement. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable California or federal law.
Changes to this policy
